Offerings

  • Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is one of the most common massage modalities. It can be wonderful for those looking for relaxation and relief from tension. Swedish techniques include long, gliding strokes, kneading, and percussion. Swedish massage can also improve circulation.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue is similar to Swedish, but incorporates more pressure and focuses on deeper layer of muscles and fascia. Deep Tissue utilizes slower, deeper strokes and can be helpful for addressing muscle related injuries and breaking up scar tissue.

  • Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that addresses the bones and muscles of the head, spinal column, and sacrum to help reduce stress and pain. It can be helpful to facilitate the release of holding patterns in the nervous system. This technique can be used on its own, or combined with massage therapy.

  • Senior Massage

Senior massage incorporates the specific needs of older clients. A variety of factors will be considered including medical conditions, skin condition, pain threshold, and temperature regulation. Techniques vary depending on the client’s needs.

  • Hot Stone Add-On

Hot stones can be incorporated with a variety of bodywork modalities. Heated stones are placed on the client’s body and/or held by the therapist while doing the massage. The added heat can help warm and soften the tissues and deepen relaxation.

  • Aromatherapy Add-On

Aromatherapy is another wonderful compliment to your session. Essential oils are added to the massage oil/lotion for application to the client’s skin, and can also be diffused into the air. Scent selections are customized to the client’s preferences and needs.
